So, why not have fruits by themselves? Having them in smoothie form allows you to add in other ingredients that’ll keep you feeling full and energized. You can add things like leafy greens, yogurt, honey, oats, and protein powders. They bring along a whole host of benefits to you health, energy, and beauty. And not to mention, they’re delicious!

Berry Vanilla Smoothie – Energy Boosting
8 oz. non-fat milk
1∕3 cup 1 percent fat cottage cheese
¼ unsweetened blueberries
¼ cup unsweetened blackberries
¼ cup red grapes
¼ tsp. vanilla extract
Cut the banana into pieces and freeze along with all other fruits.
Once frozen, dump them all into a blender and whizz until smooth and creamy. Add as much milk as you want to make it as thick as you like.
Add your sweetener of choice if preferred.
Coconut Bliss – Healthy Skin
1/2 cup coconut milk
4 oz water
4 oz unsweetened almond milk
1⁄2 frozen banana cut into chunks
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp shredded unsweetened coconut
A handful of ice cubes
Add all the ingredients into blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
Matcha Smoothie – Mood & Energy Boosting
1 cup romaine lettuce
2 cups almond milk
1-2 teaspoon matcha powder
1-2 teaspoon honey
Handful of nut of choice (finely chopped)
Cut bananas into pieces and freeze.
Once frozen, put the bananas and all other ingredients into the blender and let it go until smooth.
Garnish with nuts. Enjoy!
Green Smoothie – Boost the Immune System
1 cup papaya
1/2 cup kale
1/2 cup spinach
1/2 green apple
1-2 teaspoon honey (optional)
Place all the ingredients into blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
Beauty Bonanza – Younger-Looking Skin
1/4 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1 orange, peeled and pits removed
1 ripe banana
1/2 cup fat-free plain yogurt
1/2 cup extra firm Silken tofu
2 tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp agave nectar
Put all ingredients into blender and whip until smooth.
Chocolate Peanut Butter – Delicious & Healthy
2 large ripe bananas, peeled and frozen into chunks
3/4 cup coconut milk
3 tbsp organic creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup unsweetened natural cocoa powder
1 tbsp agave to taste (optional)
Add the bananas, coconut milk, cocoa, peanut butter, and agave to taste.
Blend well until smooth for about 30 seconds or so.
Taste to adjust flavor and serve immediately.
